释义	圓教 yuán jiào佛教天台宗、华严宗等自谓贯通诸经，调和各宗，不偏不倚，圆满无缺，因称圆教。中国佛教宗派将经典教法批判分类，而以本派所宗的经典教法为最圆满究竟的教法，谓之圆教。但各派思想不同，所认为的圆教也各异，如天台宗以法华经和大般涅槃经为圆教，华严宗以华严经为圆教，道宣以唯识思想为圆教。圣教万差，要唯有五：一小乘教；二大乘始教；三终教；四顿教；五圆教。《华严一乘教义分齐章．卷一》圆教
