释义	新人文主義 xīn rén wén zhǔ yì一種評論運動。以英國詩人兼評論家阿諾德Paul E. More的文學和社會理論為基礎，於西元一九一○至一九三○年，在美國展開的一個評論運動。新人文主義深惡於十九世紀浪漫主義與自然主義過分重視人類獸性本能，而主張人性仍需陶冶，良知良能須受理性的驗證。一般而言，此派人士學院氣息濃厚，在政治及藝術方面，態度均趨於保守。
