释义	格奸 gé jiān至於奸惡。《書·堯典》:克諧以孝，烝烝乂，不格奸。孔傳:言能以至孝和諧頑嚚昏傲，使進進以善自治，不至於奸惡。一說，猶扞格。劉師培曰:格奸二字爲雙聲，即扞格二字之倒文也。《禮記·學記》雲:則扞格不勝。注云:扞格，堅不可入之貌。《釋文》曰:扞格不入也。扞格二字，倒文則爲格奸。扞從幹聲，幹格亦一聲之轉。不格奸者，猶言不扞格，言舜處家庭之間，無所障塞。即《論語》所謂在家必達也。若解爲不至於奸，則失古語形容之旨矣。見《古書疑義舉例補》。
