謂違背禮法﹐驅車橫射禽獸。比喻用不正當的手段去追求、取得某種東西。
我驅馳終日不獲一，為之詭遇，一朝而獲十。
《孟子．滕文公下》
漢．趙岐．注：「橫而射之曰詭遇。」後比喻不以正道追求名利。唐．白居易〈適意〉詩：「直道速我尤，詭遇非吾志。」
